How to Install WordPress in 1-Click

WordPress is the most popular Content Management System (CMS) in the world, powering over 40% of all websites on the internet. With YallHost, installing WordPress is incredibly easy thanks to our 1-Click Installer.

Step-by-Step WordPress Installation Guide

Step 1: Log in to cPanel

First, log in to your cPanel account via your YallHost Client Area.

Step 2: Find the Software Installer

Scroll down to the bottom of the cPanel dashboard to the Software section and click on Softaculous Apps Installer (or WordPress Manager by Softaculous).

Step 3: Select WordPress

In the Softaculous dashboard, locate the WordPress logo and click the Install button.

Step 4: Configure the Installation Settings

You will need to fill out a brief form to configure your new WordPress site:

  • Choose Installation URL: Select the protocol (choose https:// if you have an SSL certificate) and the domain where you want to install WordPress. Leave the "In Directory" field blank if you want it installed on the main domain.
  • Site Settings: Enter your Site Name and Site Description (you can change these later).
  • Admin Account: Create a secure Admin Username and Admin Password. Enter your real email address in the Admin Email field, as this will be used for password resets and notifications.
  • Choose Language: Select your preferred language for the WordPress dashboard.

Step 5: Complete the Installation

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the Install button.

Softaculous will now install WordPress on your domain. The process usually takes less than a minute. Do not close the window until the progress bar reaches 100%.

Accessing Your New WordPress Site

Once the installation is complete, you will see a success message with two URLs:

  1. Your website URL (e.g., https://yourdomain.com)
  2. Your Administrative URL (e.g., https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin)

Click on the Administrative URL to log in to your new WordPress dashboard using the username and password you created in Step 4.

Congratulations! You have successfully installed WordPress and are ready to start building your website. If you need a hosting plan optimized specifically for WordPress, check out our Web Hosting packages.
