How to Configure Email Clients (Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail)
While webmail is convenient, many people prefer to use desktop or mobile email clients to manage their emails. This guide shows you how to configure popular email clients to work with your YallHost email account.
Email Server Settings
Before configuring your email client, you will need your email server settings. Here are the standard settings for YallHost:

| SMTP Server (Outgoing) | mail.yourdomain.com (Port 465 - SSL) |
| Username | Your full email address |
| Password | Your email password |
Configuring Microsoft Outlook
Step 1: Open Outlook
Launch Microsoft Outlook and click on File → Add Account.
Step 2: Enter Email Address
Enter your full email address and click Connect.
Step 3: Manual Configuration
If automatic setup fails, choose IMAP and enter the server settings from the table above.
Configuring Gmail
Step 1: Enable IMAP in Gmail
Log in to your Gmail account and go to Settings → Forwarding and POP/IMAP.
Step 2: Enable IMAP
Select Enable IMAP and save changes.
Step 3: Add Account
In Gmail, click on your profile picture and select Add another account. Follow the prompts to add your YallHost email.
Configuring Apple Mail
Step 1: Open Mail Settings
Open Apple Mail and go to Mail → Preferences.
Step 2: Add Account
Click on the Accounts tab and click the + button to add a new account.
Step 3: Enter Details
Enter your email address and password, then click Continue.
Step 4: Manual Server Configuration
If needed, manually enter the IMAP and SMTP server settings from the table above.
